Our review

These Japanese made carbon strings are easily the best strings we have ever played. We spent a week testing all of the best ukulele strings in the world including Aquila, D'addario, Worth, Hannabach and more. These Nami strings were our top pick.

They produce the most pure clarity that we have heard on a ukulele when strumming. They perform really well fingerpicking, alongside the Aquila reds which we love too.

As expected, they are extremely soft on the fingers, making them invaluable to beginners especially. A good set of strings can do wonders for any uke, these strings are definitely worth the investment.

We tested these particular strings on soprano, concert and tenor and found them to be suitable for all sizes.

Great Sound, Questionable Price

The sound is undoubtedly great, but there was a moment when the price went up, which seemed excessive. Thankfully, it's back to the usual price now definitely a good deal.

An Acquired Taste

I absolutely love these strings! I bought them on a whim as I enjoy carbon strings. These are thinner than other carbon strings like Worth, making them easier to press. They provide a sense of release and offer beautiful sound quality. I'd highly recommend them, especially to solo ukulele players. I hope they start making low-G strings too.

Crisp and Clear

I decided to try these strings for the first time, and I was impressed with the results. They offer a clear and sharp sound that I've really come to enjoy. It's safe to say I'm a fan of these strings now.
