As much as we love to serve you face to face, we don't have a physical store as putting one will require us to hike up our price and we're not prepared to do that at this stage as we want you to enjoy our ukes at a fair price.
Though it'll be awesome to see you in person playing our ukes, our warehouse is not suitable for customer visits. If you have any questions that aren't on this page, you can shoot us message anytime using text box below the page.
We have workshops in various countries such as Japan, Australia and the US where we're getting some sample production done. Currently, our main factory is in China, with our in-house luthier and a passionate team that has decades of knowledge producing great quality ukuleles.
You're right! But we operate globally, and USD seems to be the best currency option, but we can always arrange an invoice on your preferred currency. Just shoot us a message and will prepare it for you.
There's no "right size" in choosing your first uke, we have starter kits available in Soprano, Concert and Tenor size but we suggest beginner players to start with concert size ukes as this will give them room to grow.
If you're comfortable playing right-handed, you should be okay. Some lefty players opt to get left-handed ukes even though they can play right-handed as they find more natural. Go with what you think works best for you.
We don't pre-stretch the strings, so it's normal that they go out of tune the first few days. Give it time to settle in, jam with it as often as you can. If you're still having an issue after a few days, shoot us a message and we'll be so much happy to assist you.
Everyone deserves an insanely good ukulele and service and that's what the Bondi Ukuleles team is about. We burn the midnight oil to bring you expertly crafted instruments that are suitable for all types of players.
Sound wise, our ukes have a really clean crisp sound and are far more comfortable to play than any others in a similar price range.
More than that, we believe that Ukulele can help make this world a better place for children. We have initiated a charity, the Rhytm & Reason where you contribute to sponsoring a teacher to bring music in the school in Cambodia.
