Resonator Ukuleles aren't new, but Bondi has combined the feel of a ukulele and the tone of a resonator into a truly unique instrument. You might think that the Nickel-Copper body would make the instrument sound tinny, but you'll be amazed at how well balanced it is. It has the traditional throaty mid-range boost that resonators are known and loved for.
The striking matte finish has a similar look to aged and distressed brass. The Mahogany neck also has a matte finish that makes moving around the Walnut fretboard of this reso very smooth.
Bone nuts are extremely durable and are a better option than the standard plastic nut, which is why Bondi uses them here. The nut slots tend to be smoother so your strings are snag-less. Combined with high ratio chrome-plated tuners and you'll have a well-tuned instrument that doesn't slip.
